Charity Partners Page

Sterling Apex Capital has been committed to philanthropy since the company’s founding in 2008. Over the years, we have partnered with a number of organizations in our effort to give back and to make a positive impact on our community.

Current Charity Partners

Sterling Apex Capital has an ongoing relationship with Michael Schumacher’s Keep Fighting Foundation, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to promoting the idea of perseverance and resilience. In collaboration with our friends at Formula 1, we have produced a range of gold and silver coins featuring portraits of Mr. Schumacher. In addition to honoring Mr. Schumacher's remarkable racing career, the sale of these coins directly benefits Keep Fighting and their many charitable projects.

Philanthropic Work In Healthcare

In April and May of 2020, Rosland partnered with local restaurants Milo & Olive and Milo SRO to deliver food to the medical personnel at Providence Saint John’s Health Center as a means of expressing our gratitude for their tireless work to ensure the health and safety of our community amid the COVID-19 crisis.

In previous years, we have also worked to demonstrate our support for other healthcare organizations and causes:

In 2017, Rosland was a key sponsor for the 18th annual Bruin Run/Walk, a 5k that raised funds for the Chase Child Life Program at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. The event was held on the UCLA campus, which is located near our Los Angeles office. Chase Child Life works to meet the emotional, educational, and social needs of chronically ill children requiring long-term hospital care.

In 2019, Rosland worked with Formula 1 to produce a 1kg gold coin depicting racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart. One of the coins was donated to an auction at the Monaco Grand Prix Amber Lounge, where it raised a significant sum for Sir Jackie’s organization, Race Against Dementia, which allocates its funds toward dementia research and treatment.

Philanthropic Work For Veterans

Sterling Apex Capital has worked extensively on behalf of active military members and veterans in our community:

Over the course of the 2015-2016 academic year, Rosland partnered with UCLA’s Veteran Resource Office to establish the Sterling Apex Capital Fund, which allocated financial resources toward the continued education and wellness of veteran students. We contributed a combined $10,000 to the fund during the fall and spring semesters of that year.

In 2014, 2015, and 2016, Sterling Apex Capital was the top fundraising team at the New Directions for Veterans “Walk for Warriors 5k”, an event that helped the organization provide aid to homeless and at-risk veterans in the Greater LA area. In each year that we participated, our employees raised over $10,000 for the walk.

In 2015, as part of the development of an innovative program for the Fisher House Foundation, Rosland partnered with the Royal Canadian Mint to produce a five dollar silver Maple Leaf coin with a heart-shaped mint mark. With each coin sold, we were able to make donations to Fisher House and its Canadian equivalent, Valour Place, both of which provide housing for visiting military and veteran families while their loved ones are receiving medical treatment. Through this collaboration, we were able to raise a total of $50,000 for the organizations.

That same year, Sterling Apex Capital CEO Marin Aleksov co-created the “Sterling Apex Capital Guide to Gold”, an educational book discussing the history and value of gold as an asset. For each copy of the book sold, we donated $10 to the American Red Cross and its programs supporting former and current members of the armed forces.

In October 2014, Rosland pledged $1 to the Red Cross’ veteran services for every silver Peace Dollar coin sold over the course of the month. We were able to raise over $12,000 for the organization through this initiative.

Other Humanitarian Initiatives

In 2017, Rosland collaborated with Formula 1 to produce a series of coins benefiting the Ayrton Senna Foundation, an organization continuing the work of racing legend Ayrton Senna in promoting children’s education in Brazil.

In 2014, Rosland was a key sponsor at the 50th Anniversary Celebration for OPCC (now known as The People Concern), an organization that provides support to members of the community that are most vulnerable to abuse, addiction, homelessness, and poverty.

In the same year, Rosland employees participated in the United Way Homewalk, a 5k intended to raise funds to provide assistance to the homeless community of Los Angeles. The Rosland team raised just over $10,000 for the event, making us the 11th highest donor out of more than 500 participating teams.

We at Rosland are proud of the contributions we’ve made to our community thus far, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to make the world a better place.
